NAVAL AUXILIARY PATROL HAT BADGE, WWII, in gilt bronze. Nearly very fine and scarce.

The Naval Auxiliary Patrol (NAP) was established as a voluntary group on 12 June 1941. From 19 Dec 1941 it assumed responsibility from the RANR for the patrol of the Brisbane River which was divided into 10 separate patrol areas.
