THE WARATAHS SOUTH COAST ROUTE MARCH 1915, colour patch and two smaller colour patches of the Australian flag and a single four leaf clover, together with three postcards from Kiama at the time, one used and two unused, also a brief outline of the march and a list of those marchers who gathered at Shoalhaven. Very fine and scarce. (lot)

On November 25, 1915 men from Nowra and places south began entering camp at the Nowra Showground as they were to take part in the Waratahs 'Cooee' recruiting march to Sydney. On December 18, 1915 the 116 strong South Coast Waratahs concluded their 'Cooee' march from Nowra to Sydney when they made their patriotic entry in rain and mud. They were welcomed by the Premier, Hon. W. A. Holman MLA and then left for the Liverpool Camp for training and overseas service.
