GREAT BRITAIN, Naval cutlass, 1820s, hinged guard for comfortable wearing, guard with cipher of George IV, inside of guard impressed with number 1542, no scabbard. Small top piece missing from guard, handle covering deteriorated, blade scratched from sharpening stone, good.
