PAUL TIBBETS USAF PILOT'S SIGNATURE, on Japanese one hundred dollars issued for invasion of Malaya, banknote signed on back top in ink, 'Paul W. Tibbets/Enola Gay/Hiroshima 091517/6 Aug 1945'. Banknote is virtually uncirculated, certificate of authenticity grading is fine.
With certificate of authenticity of RR Auction.
Together with photo images of Colonel Tibbets and the Enola Gay B-29 Superfortress and a small account of the operation to drop the atomic bomb from the aircraft piloted by Colonel Paul W. Tibbets. The number Paul Tibbets has written, 091517, is the time that the bomb was dropped from the aircraft, 0915:17.
