SUSAN B. Anthony signature, Rochester, N.Y., Jan. 6, 1889, in ink on an off-white slip (8.8x3.5cm), matted and framed, with a small photo of Anthony seated, to an overall size of 17.5x22.8cm, this also matted. The signature and details pale with age, otherwise fine.
With two letters of authenticity of PSA/DNA Autograph Certification Team and a certificate of authenticity of RR Auction.
Susan Brownell Anthony (1820-1906) was an American social reformer who played a pivotal role in the women's suffrage movement. She is depicted on the USA one dollar coins of 1979-1981 and 1999.
