LYDIA, Sardes, Germanicus, AE 14, (3.730 grams), (issued probably A.D. c.41-54), obv. bare head left of Germanicus, around **GERMANIKOS KAISAR*, rev. helmeted figure of Athena standing l., holding out phiale and spear, left and right, **[MNA]SEAS [S]ARDIANWN*, (S.357, RPC 2993, BMC 113, Waddington 5234-5). Cleaned, dark tone, very fine and rare.
