CARIAN ISLANDS, Rhodes, (125-88 B.C.), silver drachm, (2.900 grams), obv. radiate head of Helios to right, hair loose, rev. P O either side of rose with bud on right, to left winged caduceus, above magistrate **DEXIKPATHS* (cf.S.5064, Jenkins KME Nr.37, SNG von Post 294 [This Coin]). Good very fine, scarce.
Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 56 (lot 1880) and previously from Sotheby's October 9-10, 1995 (lot 155 part).
