PAMPHYLIA, Aspendos, (c.375-360 B.C.), silver stater, (10.842 grams), obv. two naked athletes as wrestlers grasping each other by the hands, A**F* between, dotted border, rev. slinger advancing to right about to discharge his sling, trisceles before, behind **[E]ST*FE**DIIU[S]*, all within square dotted border, (cf.S.5396, BMC 31-32, SNG France 3, 83, SNG Cop. 228, SNG von Aulock 4566). Slightly off centred and die rust on the obverse, otherwise very fine and rare.
