CILICIA, Tarsus, Trajan Decius, (A.D. 249-251), AE 33, (21.62 grams), obv. laureate draped bust of Trajan Decius to right, border of dots, around AV KAI **G* MEC KVIN **D*[EK]IOC [TPAIANOC], **P P* across field, rev. Herakles standing to left holding club and lion skin, around TAPO[COV MHTP]O**POLEW* C AMK, **G* B across field, (cf.S.4392, cf.SNG Levante 1157 (Pl.77, same obverse die), SNG France 2,1756 [Pl.94, same obverse die]). Porous flan, nearly fine and rare.
