PHOENICIA, Tyre, Caracalla, (A.D. 198-217), AE 25, (12.398 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Caracalla, IMP M AVR ANTONINVS around, rev. Astarte placing hand on trophy, Nike crowning Astarte, Marsyas at feet before, around SEP TVRVS MET COLONI, (S.-, BMC 272-3 [p.270], Lindgren I, 2369 [This Coin]). Very fine with rough brown surfaces, very rare.
