EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy I, (323-283 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (13.810 grams), Alexandria mint, obv. diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, with aegis, behind ear D, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, in front P over monogram MI, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU*, (S.7762, Sv. 253, cf.SNG Cop. 69). With several punch marks (Bankers marks), otherwise good fine/fine.
