FOURTH AUSTRALIAN & NEW ZEALAND CONGRESS & INTERNATIONAL PHILATELIC EXHIBITION, Melbourne, 1928, award medal in silver (38mm), by Stokes, Melb, reverse inscribed, 'W.Pittman/(Division) IV/(Class) 8/1st Award'. In case of issue marked Stokes & Sons, hairlines, good extremely fine.

Mr W.Pittman of Mundoo, near Innisfail, Queensland was awarded 1st place for the New Guinea section of his stamps displayed at the exhibition.
