PALESTINE, Roman Procurator of Judaea, Marcus Ambibulus under Augustus, (A.D. 9-12), copper prutah, (1.996 and 1.942 grams), obv. ear of barley surrounded by Greek inscription, KAICA POC, rev. eight branched palm tree, across L MA = year 41 = A.D. 11, (S.5609, H.638 [103], AJC II Supplement V, No.5, Meshorer 219). Both fine - very very fine, one with green edge oxidation, both with a good date readings. (2)
