DE CARLE, Edwd. & Co., Lord Raglan pattern Melbourne Tasmania penny (A.-; HR.20; R.117). Weakly struck in centre of reverse, brown patina, good very fine and excessively rare.

Ex R.Jewell Collection, G.C.Heyde Collection 23rd March 1974 (lot 383) and Spink Australia Sale 26 (lot 620).

Struck with an uneven raised line edge and not in a normal collar. The other known specimen was in A.H.F.Baldwin's Collection and was sold in our Sale 3, November 1979 (lot 175).
