SEXTUS POMPEY, (c.45-44 B.C.), AE as, Spanish mint, (15.38 grams), obv. laureate head of Janus, altar at centre, trace of PIVS IMP F, rev. prow to right, [EPPIVS] above, LEG below, (S.347 [£250], Cr.478/1b, Syd.1045a). Dark brown patina, weak legends, otherwise nearly very fine/good fine and rare.
