AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), silver denarius, Lyons mint, issued 2 B.C. - A.D. 4 and later, (3.454 grams), obv. laureate head of Augustus to right, partial legend CAESAR AVGVSTVS DIVI F PATER PATRIAE around, rev. Caius and Lucius Caesars standing facing, shields and spears between them, above on left simpulum to right, and on the right a lituus to left, partial legends in exergue C L CAESARES and around AVGVSTI F COS DESIG PRINC IVVENT, others (2, 3.674 grams and 3.744 grams), (S.1597, RIC 207, RSC 43, BMC 519). One with edge chip, off centred or weak in places, otherwise very good - fine. (3)
