NERO, (A.D. 54-68), AE Sestertius, issued c.64, Lugdunum mint, (22.14 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Nero, around IMP NERO CAESAR AVG PONTIF MAX TRIB POT PP, rev. Nero on horseback prancing to right, holding spear accompanied by second horseman in background, holding vexillum over shoulder, across S C, in exergue DECVRSIO, (cf.S.1957, RIC 509, BMC 318, WCN 434). Nearly very fine and a rare type.
