OTHO, (A.D. 69), silver denarius, issued 69, Rome mint, (3.356 grams), obv. bare head to right of Otho, around IMP OTHO CAESAR AVG TR P, rev. Ceres standing to left, holding corn ears and cornucopiae, around PONT MAX, (cf.S.2158 [£700 VF], BMC 9, RIC 6, RSC 11). Attractive light tone, very fine and very rare.
