TITUS AS CAESAR, (A.D. 79-81), silver denarius, Rome mint, issue of A.D. 77-78, (3.516 grams), obv. T CAESAR IMP VESPASIANVS, laureate head to right, rev. COS VI, Mars standing left holding spear and trophy, (S.2439 [£100 VF], RIC V195, BMC V221, RSC 65). Very fine and rare in this condition.

With ticket from CNG (US$135). The Reka Devnia hoard of 88,044 silver coins contained 431 coins of Titus with only 1 of this variety.
