DOMITIAN, issued as Caesar under Vespasian, (A.D. 81-96), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 76, (3.422 grams), obv. laureate head of Domitian to right, around CAESAR AVG F DOMITIANVS, rev. around COS IIII, Pegasus walking to the right, (S.2637, RIC V238, RSC 47). Good very fine or better and rare in this condition.

Ex CNG with ticket. The reverse is copied from a coin of Augustus.
