HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 121-2, (24.32 grams), obv. laureate head of Hadrian to right, drapery on left shoulder, around IMP CAESAR TRAIANVS HADRIANVS AVG, rev. PONT MAX [TR POT C]OS II around, CONCORDIA in exergue and S C across, Concordia seated to left, holding patera, left arm on Spes, cornucopiae below throne, (S.-, RIC 535b, C.259). Dark green attractive patina, weak on parts of the legend, otherwise good fine and scarce in this condition.
