SOLD $50

CHINA, Shanghai Canidrome membership badge, 1932, in gilt bronze and enamel, reverse impressed 'No.281', with original cord suspension. Small piece of enamel missing at top edge, otherwise very fine and scarce.

There were Canidromes (greyhound racing tracks), one in Shanghai that opened in 1928 and another in Macau that opened in 1931. Based on the colour of the badge and the cord, the badge offered here appears to be for the Shanghai track.

Estimate / sale price does not include buyer's premium (currently 22% including GST) which is added to hammer price.
