ANTONINIUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 149, (2.754 grams), obv. ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P XII, laureate head to right, rev. COS IIII, Annona standing left before modius filled with corn ears, holding two corn-ears and anchor, (S.4072, BMC 657, RIC 175, RSC 284). Toned, nearly extremely fine.
