SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS, (A.D. 193-211), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 202 (3.200 grams), obv. laureate head of Septimius Severus to right, around SEVERVS PIVS AVG, rev. around PART MAX P M TR P X, two captives seated back to back with trophy between them, (S.6323, RIC 184, RSC 372). Full well centred flan, good very fine or better, scarce.

In the Reka Devina Hoard of 81,044 silver coins, contained 7256 coins of Septimius Severus and had only 22 of this type.
