GETA, (A.D.209-212), issued as Caesar 207, silver denarius, Rome mint, (2.816 grams), obv. P SEPTIMVS GETA CAES, bare-headed bust draped to right, rev. around PONTIF COS, Minerva standing frontal. head to left, leaning on shield and holding reversed spear, (S.7186, BMC 446-9, RIC 34b, RSC 104a). Some original mint bloom, extremely fine and rare in this condition.
