EUBOIA, Histiaia, (c.350-340 B.C.), silver drachm, (2.99 g), obv. head of nymph Histiaia right wreathed in ivy, rev. cow standing to right, vine with two bunches of grapes, **ISTI* in exergue, AY**G* monogram to right, (S.2494 [£140], BMC 4, Lanz BCD Catalogue No.111, [lot 375, realised hammer 350 Euros], SNG Cop.516). Toned, porous, cleaned, nearly very fine and rare.
