PELOPONNESOS, Argolis, Argos, (late 2nd - 1st century B.C.), silver hemidrachm, or Attic triobol, (2.33 g), obv. forepart of wolf at bay to right, rev. A with **F* A either side at top with HNO**S* below all within shallow incuse square, (cf.Sear 2797, BCD 1162.2 [p.279, LHS 96], HGC 5, 691, BMC -, SNG Cop. -). Good very fine and rare.
