IONIA, Kolophon, (5th century B.C.), silver tertartemorion (quarter obol), (0.26 g), obv. head of Apollo to right, rev. TE monogram in incuse square, with grain of corn behind, (cf.S.4345 [£60], cf.SNG. Von Aulock 2002, Milne [NN&M 96 {1941}] No.34 [3 examples known]); another Ionia, uncertain issue 7-6th century B.C., (0.43 g), silver hemiobol, obv. archaic Apollo head to left, rev. incuse rough square, (S.-, SNG von Aulock 1809). Good very fine, second off centred, both rare. (2)
