MAXIMINUS I, (A.D. 235-238), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.142 grams), obv. laureate bust of Maximinus I to right, around IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG, rev. Providentia standing to left holding wand over globe and cornucopiae, PROVIDENTIA AVG around, (S.2345, RIC 13, RSC 77); another similar, (2.444 grams), rev. VICTORIA AVG, Victory advancing right with wreath and palm, (S.2347, RIC 16, RSC 99). Good very fine portrait, otherwise very fine. (2)
