LOLLIUS PALICANUS, (45 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint (3.65 g), obv.head of Honour to right, HONORIS behind, rev. PALIKANVS above curule chair, between two ears of corn, (S.465[£150 VF],Cr473/1, Syd.960, B.Lollia 1). Off centre on the reverse, weak in places, bankers' and surface marks, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
