ELAGABALUS (A.D.218-222), silver quinarius, Rome mint, (0.89 g), Obv. Laureate draped bust right of Elagabalus, around IMP CAES M AVR ANTONINVS AVG, Rev. VICTOR ANTONINI AVG Victory running right holding wreath and palm (S.-, RIC 157, C.290). Pitted surface, otherwise good fine and very rare.

Ex D.J.Foster Collection and acquired from Noble Numismatics Sale 49 (lot 2239), that previously from the Richard A. Williams Collection, Spink Noble Auction Sale 45B (lot 1895).
