GORDIAN III, (A.D. 238-244), silver denarius, (2.92 g), issued in 241, obv. IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, laureated bust draped and cuirassed to right, rev. LAETITIA AVG N, Laetitia standing left holding wreath and anchor, (S.8675, RIC 113, C.120). Delightful blue and gold patina, as struck, about uncirculated.
