CARAUSIUS, (A.D. 287-293), billon antoninianus, London mint, (3.740 grams), obv. radiate cuirassed bust of Carausius to right, around IMP CARAVSIVS P F AVG, rev. around SALV S AVG, Salus standing to left by altar, holding patera and sceptre, B E either side, MLXXI in exergue, (S.3563 [£150], RIC 162). Cleaned, nearly very fine and rare.
