CARAUSIUS, (A.D. 287-293), billon antoninianus, uncertain mint, (3.118 grams), obv. radiate cuirassed bust of Carausius to right, around IMP C CARAVSIVS P F AV, rev. around MONET[A AVG], Moneta standing to left holding patera and cornucopiae, S C either side, (cf.S.3578 [£150], cf.RIC 470). Cleaned, nearly very fine/fine and rare.
