AUTOGRAPH BOOK, with drawings throughout (approx 28), some portraits but mainly cartoons by famous cartoonist during the period 1935-1940, mostly in colour, noted drawings of Ginger Meggs signed by the creator, Jimmy Bancks, others by such people as Hal Quinlan of Smith's Weekly fame, Theo Batten, as a young man and who later created the 'Lucky Cat' strip for the Sun Herald and who also won the coveted Wakely Award in 1972, also Noel Cook of the Telegraph, Jack Baird, cartoonist and WWII war artist for the Sunday Sun, Stuart Peterson a freelance artist to newspapers in Australia and New Zealand, many others. Very fine - extremely fine and very rare.
