SYRIA, Seleucis & Pieria, Antiochia ad Orontem, (Antioch), Philip I, (A.D. 244-249), billon tetradrachm, (10.86 g), issued 244, obv. laureate draped and cuirassed bust right of Philip I, around AVTOK K M IOV**L FILIPPO*Y CEB, rev. eagle facing open wings, head to left with wreath, around, **DHMARC EXOU*CIAC, S C across, MONVRB in exergue, (cf.S.3958, McAlee 899, Prieur 304 [notes 60 known examples). Toned, very fine/good fine and very scarce.
