PERSIAN IMPERIAL COINAGE, Kingdom of, Darius I, (521-486 B.C.) or later ruler, silver siglos, (5.37 g), issued 500-485 B.C. or later, obv. king as bearded archer kneeling to right with spear and bow, rev. oblong incuse punch, (S.4678, Carradice Type IIIa, 14-15); Uncertain Roman ruler, silver siliqua, early 5th century A.D., (1.05 g) on a very clipped flan. Very fine; nearly fine. (2)
