ANONYMOUS SERIES, (c.2nd century B.C.), AE as, (22.50 g), obv. laureate head of Janus, I above, rev. prow to right, above uncertain monogram, to right I, below ROMA, (cf.S.669); another AE quadrans, (3.64 g), obv. head of Hercules to right, [three dots behind], rev. prow to right, ROMA above, (cf.S.1098). Toned, fine - nearly very fine. (2)
