AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE as, posthumous issue, Rome mint, issued under Tiberius, issued A.D. 15-16, (11.10 g), obv. radiate head of Augustus to left, thunderbolt before, around DIVVS AVGVSTVS PATER, rev. Livia seated to right holding patera and sceptre, S C across field, (S.1788, RIC 72, BMC 151). Good very fine, brown patina, very scarce in this condition.
