ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 151-152, (3.56 g), obv. IMP CAES T AEL HADR ANT ONINVS AVG PIVS P P, laureate head to right, rev. TR POT XV COS IIII, TRANQ in exergue, Tranquillitas standing right, holding rudder and two corn ears, (cf.S.4108, RIC 218, RSC 826). Lightly toned, extremely fine, scarce.
