FAUSTINA SENIOR, wife of Antoninus Pius, (died A.D. 141), silver denarius, (3.26 g), issued A.D. 143 at Rome mint, obv. DIVA AVG FAVSTINA, draped veiled bust to right, rev. AETE R NI[TAS], Ceres standing to left holding long torch and raising right hand, (S.4583, RIC 361, RSC 101a). Bright, nearly extremely fine, off centred on reverse.
