MARCUS AURELIUS, (A.D. 161-180), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 172, (3.56 g), obv. laureate head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around M ANTONINVS AVG TR P XXVI, rev. around IMP VI COS III, Victory walking to left, holding wreath and palm, (cf.S.4904, BMC p.465, RIC 255, RSC 265). Toned, good very fine, weakness on reverse, scarce.
