SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS, (A.D. 193-211), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 193, (3.07 g), obv. laureate head to right of Septimius Severus, around IMP CAE L SEP SEV PERT AVG, rev. Legionary eagle between two standards, decorated with capricorns, around LEG X IIII GEM M V TR P COS, (S.6302, RIC 14, RSC 272). Very fine and scarce.
