CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, issued 215, Rome mint, (3.24 g), obv. laureate head to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM, rev. Pax standing to half left, holding branch and sceptre, around P M TR P XVIII COS IIII P P, (S.6841, RIC 268, RSC 314). Attractive brightness with light golden patina on the obverse, nearly extremely fine, scarce.
