CHINA, Hsin Dynasty, Wang Mang Interregnum, (A.D. 7-22), gold inlayed key money of value 5000, obv. "Yi-Dao (in gold) Ping Wu Qian", (one knife, value five thousand), length 74mm, (29.54 g), (Hartill 9.12, Sch.119, cf.TFP 456 & 458). Very fine, a nice example with clear characters but with heavy green encrustation, very rare.
