UNIVERSITY OF DURHAM, Ushaw College, 1858, in bronze (66mm) by C.Voigt, obverse, bust of Cardinal Alanus slightly left, reverse, Mary, seated with child, surrounded by four figures (Forrer VI, 310). In case of issue, lid gilt blocked 'Edvardo Towers/in III Class, litt.hum/bene merenti/in Collegio S.Cuthberti/MDCCCXCVIII'. With two minor edge knocks, single edge bruise on reverse rim, uncirculated.
