ART UNION OF LONDON, medals in bronze (3), Thomas Lawrence (56mm) by G.G.Adams, reverse, Duke of Wellington standing, from a portrait by Lawrence (BHM 2676, Eimer 1539); David Wilkie, 1861 (55mm) by L.C.Wyon, reverse, detail of Wilkie's painting 'The Village Politicians' (BHM 2704, Eimer 1549); David Cox, 1879 (56mm) by G.T.Morgan, reverse, a scene from Cox's painting 'Returning from Market' (BHM 3053, Eimer 1666). With edge bruise on second medal, cabinet friction on third, otherwise extremely fine. (3)
