QUEEN VICTORIA, Jubilee, 1897, City of London Series, set of two medals, in bronze (76mm) by F.Bowcher for Spink & Son London, obverse, bust of Queen Victoria, crowned, veiled and draped, inscription around, reverse, Britannia seated upon a rock, lion at her feet, attended by figures representing Industry and Progress left, and London, Commerce and the Colonies right (BHM 3510, Eimer 1815). In fitted double case, silk lined inside lid with inscription, and gilt blocked on outside of lid, uncirculated. (2)
