JAPAN, 25th Wedding Anniversary of Meiji Emperor in silver (67.6g, 54.75mm) Year 27 (1894), obverse with two Ho-O birds holding floral garlands in their beaks, chrysanthemum, all within a floral border, reverse depicts a nine line seal script inscription, official Japanese Mint issue. Once cleaned and now retoning, extremely fine or better, in an old fitted leatherette case.
