TONGA, Government of Tonga, Treasury Note, printer's proof or specimen one pound, Nukualofa, 1st January, 1921, imprint of Thos. de la Rue & Co. Ltd., London, 'CANCELLED' perforated at bottom and 'Reqn 123/20 - 260A' written in pen in top margin (P.3s). Hand trimmed in a haphazard manner, top right corner off, otherwise nearly extremely fine and an unrecorded date in Pick for the denomination, very rare.
